Folk artists tend to have the undescribably mature sensibility when it comes to lyricism and that definitely shines through for CT in this track. The rocky drums are clearly the driving that pulls this away from your conventional folk-i-ness, which is sick! The delicate harmonies make this a rad listen too.

this avoids being lumped in with a lot of that stirring folk mumford etc sound with it's grit and size, it goes big with conviction and i like that.

Those guitars give it a bit of a dark, blues vibe but then it opens into a real heartfelt piece of folk-rock that I think a lot of people would happily slow dance to! Lovely stuff.
