Bio

Courtney lives in Melbourne, plays a Harmony and writes songs. She likes to think her music defies genre but it’s really just an amalgamation of all the music she digs mashed into one. In 2012 she released her debut EP "I've got a friend called Emily Ferris" with the lead single "Lance Jr." Then she released a single called "History Eraser" which is gonna be on her new EP coming out 2013. A killer Nirvana-esque guitar lick and then that opening line comes along and murders it. Makes lazy rock look like a breeze, which means it obviously comes very naturally for Ms. Bartnett. Terrific stuff.

I was sold from the first line, which I'm not sure I can repeat because this is an ABC site. Dreamy, honest, suburban slacker pop music.
