9 sees the 10 year anniversary of one of Australia’s most loved and hardest working Rockabilly acts, The Creepers. Their unique brand of 50’s Rockabilly is influenced by many a Rockabilly legend, past and present. Their absolute passion for the genre, wild stage antics and powerful melodies has ensured their longevity on the Australian Rockabilly circuit. The band was formed in 1999 by four music enthusiasts with a similar interest in early Rock’n’Roll and the original Rockabilly sounds that came from Southern America. Current line up Clayton Johnson (Lead Vocals and Rhythm Guitar), Jordan Colley (Lead Guitar), Sonny Hinwood (Stand-Up Drums) and Damien Lawson (Slap Double Bass) have put together a show that combines the classic sound of 50’s Rockabilly mixed with their own distinct youthful exuberance.
