Artist:The Crush

The Crush aim to introduce a fresh mix of acoustic and electronic sounds to the Sydney music scene. Composing and performing music is a passion for this five piece outfit, as they strive to move their audiences through both funky beats and emotive melodies. The diverse nature of the band and their influences together with their strong friendship, gives The Crush an exciting and energetic dynamic on stage. Consisting of Jane Gurney on vocals, Phil Bible on bass, Ed Goyer on drums, Astrid Holz on keys and trumpet and James Gurney on guitar, the band shares a common goal of contributing an innovative sound to Australian contemporary music. Having met while either studying or teaching music, each member has both a practical and theoretical musical knowledge that assists in creating their sophisticated sound.
