Bio

Cuban Heel is a five-piece outfit from Launceston, Tasmania playing alternative indie tunes.

Since forming in 2015, the band has developed a taste for passionate and energetic live shows, making use of smooth guitars, tight grooves, mellow keyboards, and soaring synthesizers. With a love for exploring textures, melody, and harmony, Cuban Heel draws inspiration from a long list of genres and styles.

As well as supporting plenty of major Australian touring acts including British India, Slowly Slowly, and The Bennies, Cuban Heel has featured at Falls Festival and spent plenty of time making their way around the local Tasmanian circuit.

In 2017, Cuban Heel released their debut EP 'When You're Alone', celebrating the six-track release with a high-energy DIY headline show.

The band’s latest offering, Slippery Slope, was released in October 2019. This kicked-back, chilled-out number arrived just in time to captures the relaxed and care-free vibe of summer!

Can confirm that this band has passed the vibe check with this track. It's as if Holy Holy and Lime Cordiale got together for a lowkey jam.
