About
Cuss is the collaboration between Lewis Rice O'Donnell and Jordan Shakespeare. Recorded in Shakespeare's home studio in Fremantle, these tracks see O'Donnell's song writing produced and arranged in a tighter pop form. Thanks to digital to tape and tape to digital conversions, the recordings have a 60s analogue quality, reminiscent of The Kinks and The Byrds. 2019 has had them riding the wave of their first single, 'Never Again' and b-side 'Mainland', and now with the release of their second single, 'Thrills In The Dark' and b-side 'Little House Down By The Beach' (a cover of local legends Doctopus' smashing sad country ballad) they're gearing up for a summer of more releases and shows with bassist Indigo Foster-Tuke from Boat Show and Oosterbanger and organist James Hussey, from The Worms.
