Bio

Not one to be pigeonholed into any genre Cutloose is a commander of any party adventure. A versatile dj with one mode - Party. Whether it be James Brown into The Beastie Boys or Disclosure into Daft Punk. His high-energy club sets are ground breaking and original. Growing up in a Radio station and coming from a Turntablist background Cutloose started scratching INXS and Michael Jackson with Wu-Tang and The Beatles in the late 90’s and continued his cheeky mash up style into the clubs, creating a fresh new way of mixing. Paving the way for the Mash up movement of recent times. A regular feature in many of Australia's nightclubs over the past years, his skill and non-stop party mode have set him apart as a go to dj in the Industry. His high energy and party packed sets, local and national, has enabled Cutloose to tour internationally in America and Asia 2008, 09’, and 10’, shareing the stage with A-Trak, M.I.A, Z-Trip, Cut Chemist & DJ Shadow, Lyrics Born and many more. Cutloose’s insatiable quench for new music has also made him feature on many festival line-ups within Australia, including Parklife, Splendor, Good Vibes, Future Music, Blah Blah Blah, Harvest and Brisbane Music Festival while also performing at official after parties for Big Day Out, Parklife, Billabong, Von Zipper, Virgin Airlines and Red Bull. N'fa Jones always keeps it tight and I like this slinky, robotic jam he's got to rap on.
