Bio

Melbourne is notorious with producing world class indie acts and the arrival of Dan Vogl is no exception. Like a sculptor with chisel and hammer in hand, Dan has chipped away, piece by piece, inch by inch, to refine and evolve a distinctive style of storytelling. In 2019 Dan’s debut EP ‘Gifted In Gold’ saw him receive airtime on Triple J, chart in the Top 10 on the ‘Amrap’ Regional Charts, clock over 30,000 online streams and views, as well as receiving press attention from Tone Deaf, Music Feeds, Beat and Forté.

Dan has shown versatility in his live performances, supporting the likes of indie rockers British India, touring with new wavers Pseudo Echo and opening for dance DJ, Nina Las Vegas in Canada. Dan has performed at festivals like The Hills Are Alive and Eltham Street Festival and has headlined shows at iconic Melbourne venues like Northcote Social Club, The Gasometer, Cherry Bar and The Penny Black.

some very catchy pop rock from dan here and i'm with claire that when it shows some attitude and bravado it works well.

Man, I love that harsher guitar that you hear for that split second. I don't know how else to describe it so I hope you get what I mean. But i love it. Literally living for each moment till it returns.
