Danger! Earthquake! are a five piece Post Hardcore band based in Melbourne Australia. Formed from members of previous bands from Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. The band released their first single ‘Darkened Sky’ on the 27th of October 2013. This groundbreaking first single combines elements of metal, punk and hardcore whilst weaving a tapestry of melodic pianos, choirs, strings and anthem like clean vocals. The band worked with producers Shane Edwards (Dream On Dreamer, Northlane, Hellions) and Dave Petrovic (Tonight Alive, Sienna Skies, Heroes For Hire) at Electric Sun Studio’s in Sydney to record a debut EP during July 2013. The EP was mastered by Joey Sturgis (Asking Alexandria, I See Stars, We Came As Romans) Dual vocalists Allan and Vonnie’s lyrics seamlessly bounce from dark to light while classically inspired instrumentation cuts bold and beautiful melodies over a driving and definitively heavy rhythm section.
