Born and raised in Sydney, Australia and then later adopted by Cali, Colombia Danny G Felix can be described as "Australeño." An Aussie with a creative drive for making latin music and a "killer instinct for unstoppable grooves." John Shand SMH. Danny G Felix is a pianist, trumpeter and composer who has worked with the who's who of the Australian music industry from Deni Hines to Sampa the Great. He is the founder of the Monday Jam, Sydney's biggest and longest running jam session with guests such as Jill Scott, De La Soul, Gregory Porter, Shabaka and the Ancestors and the Blind Boys of Alabama. In recent years Danny has been hard at work with his progressive salsa soul group MALO MALO which he formed in 2013 and are currently putting the final touches on their second album. He has also been working with Orquesta Calibre in Cali, Colombia with whom he recorded piano on several records and helped arrange their hit song "Charrupi."
