Bio

darby is on your speakers in a 1978 classic chrome Mercedes. 'Fever Street''s melancholy blues pops corn, and is the icing on the cake to 'Pink Butter Cream'.

Gearing up to announce the release of her debut LP 'Fever Street'- showcasing soulful nostalgia and intricate composition

Performing in and around the inner west of Sydney as a trio with long time pals and collaborators, the group's intriguing blend of electric folk/ alt- country and gospel with textural three part harmony has attracted attention from some of the industry's leading bookers which saw them front the main stage of Oxford Art Factory earlier this year as well as supporting Triple J album of the year winner Tia Gostelow at the Lansdowne and Shane Howard of the infamous 70s Aussie rock group Goanna.

darby is a hyper-creative- prolific songwriter and producer, animator and visual artist. Her first full length album is set to release August 2019

I swear darby could sing about anything. This is another example of her excellent vibe and a magical mind. Sonic sweetness all the way!

feels dusty and classic in the best way possible. agree with stephen that it's restrained but still commands your attention in bursts throughout.

It's like your plunging down from the stars to earth and every now and then you have these moments of stillness and pure bliss - magical and strong as always. So great!
