My name's Darcy Hay - I'm a folk, country and blues singer-songwriter from Geraldton, WA. I write a lot of original music, with much focus given to the lyrics, which often delve into political and topical themes. I've just released a 7 track EP, 'This Blue World Is Full Of Joy', looking at subjects like the history of Aboriginal people being used as slaves in the pearling industry, youth suicide and meth usage in regional WA, falling in and out of love, depression, joy, and a murder mystery out in the wheat fields.
