Bio

Ocean Groves Etienne Mantelli (The Dare Ohhs) is speaking for a new generation of tasteful teens with his self-defined mellow and infectious lo-fi sounds that will boggle your mind from the get go. His message is simple: write music, play music, explore possibilities and inspire his peers to make the same decision. At just 17 years old, Etienne has already traveled a good path that has taken him from the depths of Victoria’s pristine coastline, to Melbourne and everywhere in between (with mums help of course) to play alongside acts such as The Murlocs, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, WOD, Dumb Punts just to name a few, as well as a number headline shows earning himself all the respect he deserves. Only at the very beginning of his career, the future is looking very bright for this young mastermind with so much more to show the world and oh, so much time do it, being only at the bottom of his game as a songwriter/musician you can expect great things to come so stick around because he won’t be stopping anytime soon!

This is great. It's just loose enough to feel carefree, just tight enough to feel unified and driven.

Still my favourite from Etienne's other band. That low bass just worms its way into my ears.
