Musical diversity and boundary-pushing creativity turned the Sydney-based singer, songwriter, producer and performer into an in-demand musical collaborator with artists and writers in the US and the UK, as well as his homeland of Australia. Having worked with Gang of Youths, on their last 3 projects, seeing them lead the charge with 8 nominations at the Australian Aria Awards, and 4 wins on the night, including Album of the Year.
As well as multiple upcoming songs with bands and artists in the US and UK, David has been hard at work in the local scene producing Sydney singer-songwriter Sayah’s latest offering, “Bad Drug”, and upcoming single “He’s Not Over Me". “We both wanted to push for a sound that was different from everything else being released in Sydney.”
David also landed a major sync with the Warner Bros. film, “Justice League”, on the movie’s trailer. The video has been viewed 31 Million times and features the cover of David Bowie’s “Heroes” recorded by David and Gang of Youths frontman, David Le’aupepe.
