Three years after trading Gold Coast beaches for the moody seasons of Melbourne, singer/songwriter David Aurora returns with the November release of his latest album, Tar. Recorded with his band (Daniel Aurora- bass, Jesse Carrol- drums) before the southern sea change began, it captures the stories of a writer hungry for new adventures and a clean slate to work from artistically. With an album worth of material that’s been locked away unheard for 3 years combined with fresh tales from a new city, his return to the stage after a year of live performance hiatus brings set lists covering material both old and new, intimate and explosive, hopeless and hopeful.
