Destined to be inspired by his North African and European background singer, songwriter and guitarist, David Zaoui, continues where his musical ancestors left off telling emotive tales of love, reflection and experience. One minute you’ll find your heartstrings being pulled and the next an uplifting desire to pursue ones dreams. David began delving into classical piano and guitar from the age of 12. By 15 he was playing rock, jazz and blues in various bands. Pursuing a growing fascination for the guitar he travelled to Spain to study flamenco. “At this stage in my life I enjoyed playing guitar however I had a growing desire to compose music and express myself more fully to a wider audience. I never thought about singing, however once performing I was surprised how mesmorised my audiences were.
