Day Break call Adelaide home but they’ve clocked up plenty of air miles since they first toured Australia with their early repertoire of pop rock originals. From playing in the back shed after school they’ve gone on to support internationally recognised touring acts such as Tonight Alive, You Me at Six, Neck Deep and Short Stack. Marcus Passey (singer/guitar), Anthony Visser (guitar), Jaxon Jenner (bass) and Nicholas Pernini (drums) cite Blink 182, MaydayParade, Good Charlotte, Coldplay, The Script and The Fray as musical influences but bring their own individual style to the stage with edgy guitar, savage drumming and a trademark high energy sound. Their video of their first single “Superman”, written in 2012 when they were just 15, has more than 40 thousand views on YouTube and the band has constantly been writing and releasing new songs since that time.
