The band was formed in 2012 by Tyler, Liam, Ryan and Brodie. Since the formation of As Daylight Dies the band has been busy writing and recording songs as well as building a set list to play live. Since their formation. As Daylight Dies played many shows at venues around Adelaide; The Cavern Club, The Squatters Arms, Club 5082, South Coast Raw, played their school showcase and competed in the Global Battle of the Bands competition and are currently in the South Australian finals.
