Artist:DC Cardwell

DC Cardwell was grew up in Northern Ireland and is now based in Melbourne, Australia. He writes songs in the classic melodic tradition of The Beatles and The Kinks, and sealed his credentials by taking out TWO of the top prizes at the Australian Catapult Song Contest in 2011 - the Judges' Award and the overall prize. DC was also invited to Los Angeles by noted film/TV composer and producer Jaymee Carpenter (The Fighter, That 70's Show) to record some of his songs for an upcoming movie produced and directed by two of the top names in Hollywood. "Who knew that depression, bitter irony, loneliness and mistrust could be so much fun? I'm not saying that sarcastically. You dig deep with such gentle and humorous resignation it's impossible not to enjoy the bitter truths you unearth. I can't pick a favorite song. They're all my favorites."
