Deanna hails from the country music capitol Tamworth, NSW, but is now based in Newcastle. She plays rhythm guitar and uses her voice to create a captivating, honest spectacle. Nothing pretentious, or contrived. She wants you to share in what is being created, often on the spot, you won't hear the same version of a song twice. When performing solo she sings what she likes to call 'power folk'.Inspired by Jewel, Bat For Lashes, Jeff Buckley, Norah Jones, Janis Joplin, Jeff Lang, Karnivool, Queens of the Stone Age, and Sam Buckingham amongst many others...Deanna delivers a rare and unique style, all of her own imaginings.
