Artist:Deer Prudence

Deer Prudence are a pair of guitar playing, violin toting folk lasses, elegantly weaving harmonies of yesteryear. Take a little bit of Joni and a dash of June and mix it with their way of folk/Americana/ pop-esque writing and you have something extra special. Originating from their hometowns of Heathcote and Bendigo in regional Victoria the girls combined forces in their high school music class at the tender age of 16 and have been performing since formation. So, it seems the duo are no stranger to the stage. Since relocating to Melbourne, the pair have gained a Bachelor of Arts (Music) degree, being taught by renowned mentors; Steve Mackay (12 Foot Ninja) and Ella Thompson (The Bamboos/ GL), as well as working closely with Jesse Hooper (Killing Heidi/ The Verses). The pair have graced the stages of Brunswick Music Festival, Wintermoon Festival (QLD), supported the likes of Krista Polvere and Gena Rose Bruce and most recently were the recipients of Majors Creek Festival- Ros Hales ...
