Demi Louise is an unsigned 21 year old singer songwriter from Ballarat Victoria. She has had a massive 2014 playing in UK, Liverpool Sound City, City Sound Festival, St Pancras Church, London Aussie BBQ and Dublin You Bloom Festival as well as opening for Gabrielle Aplin & Kodaline in the UK and Ireland. Demi was also the 1st Aussie artist invited to show case at MUCON and Zandari Festivals and conference in Seoul South Korea before heading to New York to show case at CMJ in October.
Demi has just received the Australian Songwriters Association Contemporary Pop Dance Song of the Year for her track Rivers Run to Red.
In 2015 will play Tamworth, Ballarat Beer festival opening for Dan Sultan and The Delta Riggs and returning back to the USA to show case at SXSW.
'Stay' is taken from the debut acoustic EP 'Songs from my bedroom' (available on ITunes) which was launched in the UK opening for No1 UK artist Gabrielle Aplin to a sold out Nottingham Rock City UK.
Demi's debut single Ruins was just released on ITunes and reached No7 in the ITunes Singer Songwriter charts. Recorded and Mixed by Neil Gray (for and on behalf of Big Sky Audio Productions) & Mastered by Adam Dempsey at Jack the Bear's Deluxe Mastering.
Demi has been selected for the APRA Song Hub collaboration in London Tile Yards Studios with some of the UK's top producers and writers. Demi is now in the UK playing and recording her follow up single and EP for release later this year.
