Originally from Orange, regional New South Wales, Deprivation now call the Australian Capital of Canberra home . A melodic groove metal outfit that have toured the country extensively since their inception in 2006. After a self made Demo quickly sold out of several re-pressings, the band entered East Street Studios to professionally record their debut EP 'Re-Birth' in 2008. The 5 tracks were engineered by Tim Carr and then mixed & mastered at Legendary 301 Studios in Sydney. Following several line-up changes, a fresh hunger and an ever growing fan base the 'D Crew' joined forces with Aussie music legend Darren 'jENK' Jenkins (Cryogenic, Mortality) to capture the raw, live sound on their debut LP.
