Flanked by bandmates Billy Watts (guitar), James Morris (guitar), Angus Ingram (bass) and Liam Burgan (drums), enigmatic frontman Matt Savage spins a narrative that’s equal parts Peter Garrett, Amy Taylor, and his own, golden flavour. Cutting their teeth on the local scene, Destrends has now supported the likes of King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Spiderbait, and more. Destrends debut album is due in late 2024.
