Bio

Hailing from the Northern Suburbs of Sydney, Dial Denial love who they are and what they do & are dedicated young musicians who want to write songs that resonate with people & aspire to entertain and bring fans on their journey through their music. “We’re a band who put passion, energy and emotion into our music that we love creating. We combine teen angst with a sense of humour. Our live shows involve a lot of jumping around, head banging, hair flicking and a high energy show. We also poke a lot of fun at each other and love crowd interaction.”

Dial Denial have played alongside artists such as Hockey Dad and Bakers Eddy and have played all over Australia!

Vocalist and lyricist , Fergus (Gus) Harley-Macdonald, originally started his musical journey as a drummer however was inspired to sing by the lyrics of Gerard Wey. He is musically inspired by My Chemical Romance, Slipknot and Midnight Oil.

Owen Borg, guitarist and songwriter, has been practically playing music his whole life. Owen loves performing live gigs, meeting new people and writing music. Owen’s favourite guitarists include Misha Mansoor, Jake Bowen, Eddie Van Halen & Mark Holcomb.

Transitioning from guitar to bass at the age of 12, bassist Bailey Pike takes his musical inspiration from bands such as Red Hot Chili Peppers and Blink 182. He might appear laid back but just wait till he gets on stage.

Drummer, Justin Borg, loves performing live and enjoys joking around and making people laugh. He is inspired by Red Hot Chili Peppers, Slipknot, and Blink 182. His favourite drummers include Chad Smith & Travis Barker.

Scrappy punk energy with those lyrics that'll feel like a dog whistle for all misanthropes out there.
