Bio

DIET formed over a love of all things Captured Tracks Records in a ramshackle share house at the end of the Northern line of The Tube in London. There was a Smiths poster on the wall which may have something to do with triple j presenters describing their knack for nostalgic synths and playful guitar lines as “shimmering with the sound from an alternate universe where Morrissey grew up beside the beach.”

Their sophomore Sundown EP is a collection of tracks that shine like a Brit-pop laden sunset - it includes their jangly single ' Take Me’, which gained the band Spot rotation on Triple J. It’s the culmination of constant songwriting and much time spent in the tour van (supporting the likes of British India, Polish Club, West Thebarton etc) and you can catch them playing all new songs at Bigsound this year!

Don’t be a couch potato and kick off that new obsession with a DIET pill.

Nothing but good vibes and moments to jump around to.

the result are in, there's enough hard evidence to confirm that this is no fad diet.

You're certainly keeping up with the streak you guys have been havin' ALL year. Another ripper track. What more could I say?!
