Melbourne based hard rock outfit Dirty Canary are a musical melange that are constantly tickling the ear drums . They explore the depths of hard rock, funk and metal. The vocals entwine with the ever changing guitar riffs and hard hitting drums, defying the term " Dont cross the streams ". 2009 was a busy year- writing new music, performing shows around Melbourne and promoting their first self-titled EP. 2010 has been busy too- and in the midst of it all, the band decided to record a full album worth of songs due to be released early 2011.
