Artist:The Discordians

The hypothesis that the single flap of a butterfly’s wing can create tiny changes in the atmosphere that could eventually effect the path of a tornado is a well-known allegory from chaos theory. What is not so well known, is that the humble city of Mandurah, Western Australia, is in fact the tornado capital of the world, and coincidentally also the birthplace of The Discordians, an electronica pop duo set to emerge, like a butterfly from its suburban cocoon. The Discordians were borne of two Lees- Lee Pike and Lee Kennedy - to collaborate together on a vision for a band whose mandate would be to perform dazzling trip-pop and bamboozle its listeners both sonically and visually.
