Bio

The Dissolutes are a indie-rock outfit from Sydney. The band formed in the fall of 2013. Since then, the group fine-tuned there playing style and songs for the first four months before playing there first gig in the spring of 2013. From here the group hustled to attain gigs in any, and all venues across Sydney. From avoiding conversations about age with venue promoters the band were able to gain valuable experience from playing alongside more established bands in the Sydney scene. After gigging relentlessly, the band got their first taste of success, when producer Lachie Mitchell (producer for The Jezebels, and taught under George Martin) reached out to the band asking to produce their next project. The band went on to record their first single, “Bombay” with Lachie. The track a positive reaction with numerous triple j DJ’s leaving a review on the track.

Then in the summer of 2016, the band won the Shoreshocked battle of the bands and shared the stage with at the time ‘up and comers’ Hockey Dad. This milestone really inspired the band to keep on pushing towards better things within the industry. The group have also just played the 2018 Shoreshocked festival.

With the release of their debut EP 'Out Of The Blue' in the Spring of 2017 the band are looking to gain more attraction with a trio of singles waiting to be released over the next three months.
