Artist:Dr Tarantism

I've been making producing music in one form or another for the past 15 years and in that time I've taken in influence from various genres including hip hop, dance and rock. For a while I was a DJ (under my real name "Thoko") and with friends ran an event promotion business in Wagga. I was involved in various capacities ranging (sometimes promoter, sometimes just support DJ) for shows headlined by Aston Shuffle, Tommy Trash, Hook N Sling, The Potbelleez, The Freemasons (UK) and Sam La More. Seeking a develop as a producer, I moved back home to Canberra and started working on (bootleg) remixes. In time, I started to get recognition. Kissy Sellout played two of my remixes on BBC Radio 1 in 2009 and 2010 respectively. In addition, two of my remixes made it to Hype Machine's top ten and received support from celebrity DJ Mick Boogie.
