Artist:Dreamboogie

DREAMBOOGIE –formed early in 2010, and are named after vintage American jazz/ blues writer Langston Hughes’ famed poem '“Dream Boogie'”. Smashing together the smoky smears and intense grooves of 1920s blues, with present day technology, Dreamboogie is Blues re-imagined for today. Honouring the vaudeville traditions of this inclusive form, a modern audience will feel the emotions and taste the flavour of the old world, whilst becoming part of where it’s going next. Dreamboogie won the MBAS Blues Performer of The Year (Band) competition in 2015 and was sent to represent Australia in the 2016 International Blues Challenge in Memphis USA for the second time, where the band reached the semi-finals.
