The project began as a duo, with Matty’s neighbor Simon Andrews. The pair explored Matty’s songs through a veil of psychedelic electric guitars. When Simon announced that he was travelling to ‘Burning Man’ festival in the states, the two got busy and enlisted a rhythm section to take the songs into the studio.
