Bio

Formed in a Surry Hills share-house, originally from all over the east coast, Sydney slacker pop group, Driffs bring in a new take on surf pop. The four piece bring effortless cool to the table and craft easily accessible guitar pop songs without the cliché arrangements. Their debut single, Someday plucked from a series of bedroom demos was produced by Dean Tuza at Sydneyʼs REC Studios and showcases the bandʼs ability to blend surf, psychedelic and pop influences together smooth enough to create a catchy, hook driven track that leaves you wanting more. In November Driffs will be hitting the road with Bleeding Knees Club and Step Panther before releasing their debut 7” "Someday" Catch Driffs at the following shows: Thursday 8/11/12 – The Standard Tuesday 13/11/12 – Moonshakes @ Flinders Hotel Friday 23/11/12 – The Standard – Supporting Bleeding Knees Club Saturday 24/11/12 – Transit Bar – Supporting Bleeding Knees Club Sunday 25/11/12 – The Lair @ The Metro – Supporting Bleeding Knees Club Saturday 15/12/12 – Warehouse Party, Gold Coast

This new version adds a bit of sparkle to the coastie coolness that Driffs have in spades.
