Bio

Taking two years away from The Drools to explore different parts of the world and sonic landscapes Tom, Jake and Ben fell back into the same shoes late 2018 to release three singles and an EP into the following year.

With a tighter and more distinct sound, harnessed through the DIY recording process, the guys released singles ‘Own Medicine’, ‘Catcher in the Rye’ and ‘Figure It Out’, which were joined by two more to complete the EP ‘Tendrils’.

‘Tendrils’ is an exploration of the self, permeating through the space that surrounds us, extending out and wrapping around experience.

Sonically, the band comes wrapped garage around the edges and stadium in the middle, bouncing big guitar sounds under unfettered vocals, held within the confines of a heavy rhythm section. As a result, class and grit is handled with care.

Notable energetic live performances helped see the band share the stage with the likes of Dune Rats, Skegss and Psychedelic Porn Crumpets earlier on in their career. Moving into 2020 the band wants to continue shaping their recorded sound while breaking into bigger and better arenas.

ratty and heaving. it feels like with the drools there's nothing left in the tank, the spare tank or the emergency jerry can by the end of each song.
