DUB HOVEN is a Dubstep producer from Elizabeth, South Australia. His sound also includes Neoclassical/Classical, Reggae, Pop/Rock and Psychedelic. He has been composing and producing since 2009. His work is most heavily influenced by artists such as Ludwig Van Beethoven, Rusko, Caspa, Dubba Jonny, Gemini, Physical, Bar9, Zomboy, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Lilly Allen, Katy Perry, Gotye and Funkadelic. The idea for Dub Hoven came about by mixing genres of music like Classical and classic Pop/Rock and psychedelic music with new electronic music or Dubstep; Sort of the same as Neo Classical music but instead of the music being played on traditional 4 piece band instruments; the music is played on synth's and virtual instruments.
