Bio

Dumbsaint is a four-piece instrumental band from Sydney, Australia, combining cinematic music with original, synced, narrative film projections; written, filmed and edited entirely by the band itself.

Utilising the screen on stage as an integral 5th member, the band seeks to present an 'installation' where sound and image interact in unexpected ways. Dumbsaint create a live performance in which each song is a short film, and each screening a musical set piece.

They have toured with and supported the likes of Russian Circles (USA), This Will Destroy You (USA), Boris (JPN), Earth (USA), Rosetta (USA) Grails (USA), Twelve Foot Ninja and Sleepmakeswaves. They've released 1 album, 1 EP and 3 short-film soundtracks to date, with their second full-length, 'Panorama, in ten pieces.' due August 7, 2015.

Ambient post-rock that slowly rolls into the sound of a star collapsing in on itself. Beautiful and troubling, to say the least

Powerful, scary and unrelenting instrumental metal. For best effect, listen to this while running through the woods at night.

Fantastic track. Drum tones are out of this world. Will be getting a spin on my all-instrumental show next week!
