Duncan Woods is a 25-year-old singer-songwriter, born in Zimbabwe but grown on the Central Coast of NSW in Australia.
Nowadays he travels around the world, playing and absorbing music wherever he can. His sound is a mixed bag of reggae/pop/hip hop/folk flavours.
Admittedly a strange combination, but the comfort and flow between rhythms and styles drives a dynamic and authentic live performance, fueled by the energy of the crowd.

DUNCAN WOODS is on the verge of releasing his latest EP “Chameleon”, financed on Kickstarter by fans from all over the world, recorded at Jazzanova Studios in Berlin and produced by KP4 records.
The release date worldwide is set for May 13, 2016.
The EP launch will be in The Newsagency in Marrickville.

The name for the EP "Chameleon" was inspired by Duncan's lifestyle, adapting to and becoming absorbed in whichever environment he found himself in during his travels.

Jazzanova Studios are no strangers to international artists, working in the past with the likes of Jamie Cullum, Fat Freddy’s Drop, Lionel Richie and Lorde.
The studio provided the perfect space for Duncan and his band of jazz-influenced musicians out of Berlin to live-track the EP over just a few long days in the studio.

The aim during recording was to maintain the essence of Duncan's live solo performance style while the dynamic acoustic arrangements provided the rise and fall of energy. The result: a living, breathing, honest collection of acoustic tracks which capture the sound and songwriting of Duncan Woods.

Triple J

Def got those Jack Johnson vibes about it. A real beachy soft rock acoustic jam. Nice work
