Bio

Dutch The Rappers music is written to be performed live, with big sounds and stadium styled choruses. His lyrics tackle issues of heartbreak, personal crisis and an ongoing battle with alcohol and drug addiction. Dutch’s new music has a raw feel, putting a new spin on pop with tracks like ‘Heartbreak Tarantino’ and follow up single ‘Matches’. Dutch’s live show is a high energy, dynamic powerhouse that screams to be played at festivals and venues around the country.

Dutch The Rapper has been a supporting act for ILLY, Allday, Bliss N Eso, FlatBush Zombies, Seth Sentry and recently completed a national tour with LA rappers Mickey Avalon and Simon Rex.

Since being sober for over a year, Dutch’s music explores personal, introspective themes of fear, anxiety and depression, brought on by his former substance abuse and wild twenties. “Getting sober helped me reflect on where I was and channel it through music without feeling the shame I would have felt a year ago by putting myself out there, vulnerably and honestly”

He has spent the last decade relentlessly working on his craft and songwriting every day. He has a message and voice that speaks to younger generations lyrically and stylistically, but also older generations through classic hip hop rhythms and rhyme-rich verses.

Dutch The Rapper has recently written and recorded two EPs that will be released as singles throughout the year, with a full length album dropping towards the end of 2020.

it needs a bit more variety but your honesty is there and that's something to keep strong.
