Bio

Eastside Grammar is a hip-hop/blues duo from Newcastle, NSW

Michael is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, Charlie is a guitarist and vocalist.

They have been writing a collection of tracks since early 2015 when the two Novocastrians moved in together for six months. Charlie would play blues licks over the top of Michaels smooth vocal bars and the two began combining their unique vocals together whilst writing original tracks.

They released their first single and music video ‘Down Here’, In late 2015 which featured on All Aussie Hip-Hop and racked up thousands of hits on YouTube also gaining a national following on many Australian radio stations.

The duo played their first show in November last year where they packed out the Prince Hotel in Merewether, performing with a 7 piece band. Their debut EP is due for release early this year.
