Bio

Melbourne and Los Angeles based electro-pop babes Echo City are freaking excited AF to give Unearthed a sneak-peek of their new track, Paper Mache.

Following on from their first two singles, Burn Me and Read My Mind, Paper Mache is sexy urban pop. Treat your ears to sweet vocals and introspective lyrics, all wrapped up in delicious synths and tasty beats!

"Diving into the depths of cyberspace to bring you something dark and sexy, Burn Me is the first offering from Echo City and it’s a digital masterpiece." - Hhhhappy Mag

Those vocals hit the spot! Soaring delivery from Jade. The whole package shudders with a bit of emotional intensity.

Hmmm.. doesn't really lean too far either way. Builds up but no drop... hints of pop melody comes in then fades away and you're left with a stock sounding synth that lies beneath the surface. The bridge is powerful though... definitely stay for the bridge. Not sure about the reggaeton-style drums just before the chorus comes in. Because the groove isn't in the percussion or drums...
