Bio

Australian hard rockers Electric Horse have released their highly anticipated debut album 'Venomous' on Feb 15th and are hitting the road to do what they do best on the VENOMOUS TOUR in March! Featuring brothers Jason & Dane Brown (ex-Sunk Loto), Luke Attrill, Scott Jackman & Cory Absell - Electric Horse have carved themselves a name as heavy hitters in the Aussie hard-rock scene. The bands first EP 'Translations' built the band a strong underground following and saw them tour with the likes of Karnivool, Shihad & Dead Letter Circus. They performed at the 2011 Gold Coast Big Day Out alongside bands such as Deftones, Ramstein & Iggy Pop and continued to tour Australia on their own headline dates. The majority of 2012 saw the band focus on writing and recording the debut album, quickly checking in to Loose Stones Studios on the Gold Coast to lay down drum tracks, then settling into the bands home studio to record the rest of the album. The Horse has truly found their own sound on the new album and is set to unleash a slab of infectious, hard hitting Rock & Roll songs set to put the band on the world’s musical map. The lead single from the album is ‘Roll Credits’, a hook-laden Rock song demonstrating the groups knack for writing a memorable tune. While the bands members are often remembered for their work in the heavier realm of music (Sunk Loto, Lump, King Mungi), ‘Venomous’ oozes Rock & Roll swagger & sounds like a band that is comfortable in their skin as a true Australian Rock Act. Driving drums, powerhouse bass & wailing guitars lay the foundation for vocalist Jason Brown to deliver the goods on ‘Venomous’, his melodies serving up more hooks than Rex Hunt’s tackle box ever had. This is 2013, and this album is pure Electric Horse. Turn up the volume, grab a drink and kick back and enjoy the Rock journey that is ‘Venomous’! Catch the band on their national album tour this March when they team up with Kiwi rockers These Four Walls to spread the Rock N Roll gospel around Australia!
