Bio

Silence With The Sun/Silence With The Earth Is the third album from Melbourne musician James Locke under the elephant moniker. Over time this particular outlet has solidified in theme, style and ambition, aiming to create a sound both expansive & intimate, with a stong sense of place. This is a homemade pop album, a whole and imperfect. James, originally from Queensland, has lived in Melbourne for the past two years, time spent developing his live performance & learning a lot from the countless artists who live & make music there. https://elephantmusic.bandcamp.com/

I love how intimate this song feels. A wonderfully melodic piece of music.

LOVE how this grows. Didn't see that chimey electric guitar coming toward the end - a very pleasant surprise indeed.

Sad & summery. Not a combo that usually go together. That voice has real character.
