Since first arriving in 2012, Elephant Ego has consistently delivered their distinctive sound to new live audiences across Melbourne. Having issued a late demo in late 2013 to a sold out crowd at The Evelyn, Elephant Ego are set to release their debut EP - Girls Don't Believe in Flowers (released October 16th 2014). Recording took place at Oaklands Studios & Transient Productions during the months of January to June, with in house engineer Kris Samos - Mastering by Adam Dempsey (Jack The Bear Deluxe Mastering Studios). The EP is accompanied by heavy bass, layered with a driving snare and bass drum. Echoing with transcendental hard-hitting melodies - a soaring amalgam of rock and blues. The lead single 'Fever' (released 15th September 2014), reflects the bands ability to gradually ascend from a blues/soul style into a more heavy rock based track.
