Artist:Elkwing

Elkwing are an indie electro-pop duo from Perth, Western Australia formed in 2013. Lead singer/songwriter Clancy Jones brings emotional and escapist vocals and lyrics, both serene and uplifting. Her background as a guitarist adds a rhythmic acoustic touch to many of the songs and creates multi-coloured layers of sound in combination with synth and overarching string melodies. Jake Booker is a producer and songwriter who focuses chiefly on the electronic elements of Elkwing. He imbues the songs with evocative and heartfelt drum structures and key parts which resonate deeply; complimenting and balancing the pop choruses and electro harmonies.
