Bio

Alex Kindynis, better known by his stage name Eloji (el-eh-jee) is an independent Hip-Hop recording artist from St Kilda, Melbourne, Australia. Just turning 20 years old, Eloji has released his first original EP - 'The Ugly Side' - BUY IT HERE: https://itunes.apple.com/au/album/the-ugly-side-ep/id990142698

Since he was 12, El has been finding inspiration in the most earnest of places, right in front of him. Embracing the fact that he is a product of his surroundings, Eloji writes and performs with passion, anguish and intensity. Laced with the smooth, precise production of Rahjconkas, ‘The Ugly Side’ EP is shaping up to be a journey of intimate, relatable lyrics with catchy hard hitting production.

Since supporting live acts such as Bliss N Eso, Thundamentals, Illy, Allday and more in the past few years, Eloji has recently gained the national support slot for Golden Era artist’s The Funkoars on their new The ‘Below Average’ Tour with Perth Emcee, Mathas on an 11 Show Tour around Australia. Also co-headlining ‘Forward Music Festival’ in March, 2015, Eloji’s live performance is a high octane workout that somehow remains intimate and and consistently sincere in expression. Playing a slew of shows throughout 2014 and 2015 such as supporting international acts such as Dirty Dike saw Eloji evolving his live show with friend and producer, Branford, a beat boxing DJ who sings as he plays guitars and produces songs from scratch, right in front of the crowd.

The first single from Eloji’s new release is “Peach Lip Balm”, A story of lust and infatuation with a video directed by Rush Photography is available for request via Triple J.

The Ugly Side EP - is out May 1st via iTunes, JB Hi-Fi, and other good retailers.

I'm really feeling this. Was hooked into the flow from the very first line. Energetic and engaging delivery. Real nice production too.

The thing I love about this track is it has that piano sample and drums that make it sound 90's and boom bap! One of his best! all hail the Biggie sample and El's raps to go with it!
