Artist:Emily Barker & The Red Clay Halo

Hailing from Bridgetown, Western Australia, Emily Barker is a compelling songwriter with a gift for weaving melody and words. Together with her band The Red Clay Halo, Emily has dazzled audiences at dozens of UK’s top music festivals including Glastonbury, performed with Frank Turner at the London Olympic Games opening ceremony and seen two of her songs win prestigious awards (a Bafta and an Ivor Novello) for their use as theme tunes to TV dramas Wallander starring British actor Kenneth Branagh and The Shadow Line. Both series have aired on ABC 1 television this year. Emily Barker & The Red Clay Halo have just released their 'Fields of June EP' on Linn Records and have completed the recording of a new album, due for release in 2013.
