This End Up formed in the late months of 2006, and within the first week of jamming knew they had found something special. Matt Sevier-Passmore, Brennan Mileto, Nic Pilatti, Regan Crabbe and Jack Pilatti, as 13 year olds at the time, all had a few things in common- all lived in Collie, all had known each other for years (except Matt who grew up in Perth and moved to Collie in the previous year), and all had a passion for music. The first year was slow, with the band learning mainly covers to improve their musical ability. With the guidance of Salv Mileto (who supplied a shed, PA system and a lot of advice) the first original, 'Sailor Girl' was created, helping the band win their first Battle of the Bands at Elevator 07 in Bunbury, walking away with $1000 and a day in a recording studio. With this behind them, the band began to play regular gigs around the South West region, and also began writing a new song- later recorded as 'Cloud Nine'.
