Envvie made her mark earlier this year with her debut electro-pop single “Animals” (Described as “A beautiful debut tune” by Dom Alessio – Triple J) shooting to the top of the Triple J Unearthed charts and gaining airplay.
The 18 year old songstress has just recently launched her EP “Blackout” with a headlining show at Newcastle’s The Small Ballroom.
After the success of her first single, Envvie premiered her second single “King Of Hearts” on popular music blog Happy. A lengthy positive review from writer Lucille Sadek created quite the buzz for the release of the EP.
Blackout’s tracks can be described as having soft electronic tones, with a sweet and feminine sound that comes across as powerful yet vulnerable. Drawing influences from the likes of Lorde and Kimbra, Envvie is carving out her niche in the electro-pop scene.
