Bio

Despite never having actually met in the ‘real world’, ephemerons Shane (music) and Brad (vocals) have discovered a shared musical vision that they consider is worthy of pursuing across international boundaries. Since hooking up (pardon the pun) via a New Order / Joy Division fan forum in early 2011, Shane and Brad have been collaborating purely in cyberspace, producing an EP featuring original electronic-based demos. Shane has been producing striking, original instrumentals as The Outsider Art, works that despite being digital in nature, have an organic quality and cover a wide emotional range. From epic soundscapes to throwaway pop, his music recalls the mood and spirit of bands like the Cure, Depeche, New Order / Joy Div and the cinematics of Vangelis and Morricone. Brad was formerly vocalist in original Adelaide band Mos Eisley which gigged locally in the late 90s and achieved a degree of success on local community radio. Brad’s lyrics and sense of melody strongly complement the atmospherics of Shane’s music. ephemerons has recently completed a 5-track EP entitled ‘Glimmer'.
