Bio

The first thing you notice about Evangeline’s sound is a sense of upbeat darkness. Like being at a party where no one’s smiling, but it somehow
still makes you want to get up and dance. Moody electro-pop at its best.
Rising through the ranks of Triple J Unearthed artists to emerge as one of the most promising young voices coming out of Melbourne, Evangeline has built her following on an innovative combination of dark electro and synth pop. Channelling the rawness and attitude of post-hardcore into an almost chillingly angelic voice, Evangeline’s music is both soul-searching and destructive; inviting and threatening; soothing and enraging.

if you had of told me you're going to release the same song a month later with an added vocalist i would have been a bit sceptical but this works a charm. love it, nice little glow up.

Very lush in sound and like everyone, vocals are a stand out. Makes you want to slow move in bright dazzling lights on the d floor. LOVER is the perfect addition too. You work so well together. Love this new one from you!

Damn these vocals hit different to anything I've heard on Unearthed in a little while. Keeping an eye out for the next one!
