Bio

The first thing you notice about Evangeline’s sound is a sense of upbeat darkness. Like being at a party where no one’s smiling, but it somehow
still makes you want to get up and dance. Moody electro-pop at its best.
Rising through the ranks of Triple J Unearthed artists to emerge as one of the most promising young voices coming out of Melbourne, Evangeline has built her following on an innovative combination of dark electro and synth pop. Channelling the rawness and attitude of post-hardcore into an almost chillingly angelic voice, Evangeline’s music is both soul-searching and destructive; inviting and threatening; soothing and enraging.

Damn these vocals hit different to anything I've heard on Unearthed in a little while. Keeping an eye out for the next one!

So sick Evangeline! Such an interesting tune, your voice does wonders too. Can’t wait to hear more.

Evangeline has always had a unique lilt to her vocals and intonation and it’s here as ever. It’s a nice reintroduction to a new era for her and I’m looking forward to seeing what else she has in store
