Bio

Evangeline is a singer/songwriter from Melbourne, Australia who creates infectious, dark indie-pop. Over the last few years, Evangeline has crafted a unique sound and style all of her own, continually experimenting with new forms of song-writing styles and techniques. She has also gained invaluable experience writing for herself and other artists: combining elements of indie-pop and RnB with her own dark & moody signature sound.
Evangeline has had a quick rise to fame with a modest collection of charting singles and her globally acclaimed debut EP, as well as a few vocal collaborations. She has received much praise and attention from music industry representatives, peers and fans alike, and has become as one of Australia’s most promising artists and sought-after collaborators.
Back in 2015, Evangeline burst onto the scene with two hit singles, CHEMICVL and My Kingdom, setting a standard for things to come and demonstrating her innate song-writing skills and stunning vocal capacity. Shortly after, Evangeline released a remix EP for her single My Kingdom, which included reworks from Devault, Ok Sure and Los Angeles producer William Black – whose remix exploded across Spotify, Soundcloud and YouTube and has since collected over 7.5 million combined streams worldwide.  In 2016, Evangeline toured France, off the back of the large success of My Kingdom, co-headlining the radio festivals in front of crowds of 25,000 people.
Evangeline signed an international publishing deal with Universal France and soon after, began working on her debut EP Atelophobia which was released in 2017 via her own newly founded label, Sad Boy Records.
Throughout 2018-2019 Evangeline continued down her song-writing path, experimenting and exploring new styles, techniques and sounds. She spent time writing for others, whilst working on developing her own project. Throughout this process, she has created some exciting new music that she is eager to share with the world.  After returning from a summer break in LA, Evangeline released two RNB singles, showcasing a completely different side to her sound. Drip and IWYTM received support from online publications such as DYMNK and playlist support from major streaming platform Spotify.
Over the coming months, the name Evangeline will be on the forefront of everyone’s mind as she starts to unveil some of the new singles that she has been working on.
….  Bad Parties ft. Julius dropping May 14th will be her first single from her upcoming concept EP.

We're used to hearing party pump up anthems so it's pretty refreshing for Evangeline to drop the anti anthem right here. If you've ever wanted to phantom on the kick on cos cbf then here's the soundtrack.

this has the same creepy-cool quality as a Melanie Martinez track and I'm here for (and mildly spooked by) it.
